How do I use and view UID?
UID tracking works by allowing the affiliate to append their own parameter to an OMG India tracking URL, by adding &UID=XXXX (where XXXX is the value they wish to relate to any resultant sales).
Certain programmes allow you to add a unique value (UID) to your OMG India tracking URL so that you are able to obtain a further level of detail on where your transactions originate from. To view programmes with UID functionality, select 'All Programmes' from the navigational menu then select the 'UID Tracking' check box. Click 'Search' and you will see all programmes that have UID functionality. You will then be able to select the Programmes that offer UID along with your other criteria.
To implement a UID simply add &UID=XXXXX at the end of your OMG India Tracking URL and then replace XXXXX with your Unique identifier. To view UID data navigate to the Transaction Reports and select the Summary or Breakdown report.
Affiliates will use the UID feature for any number of other reasons:

What is VCount?
VCount is the number of times a user has clicked on a banner on the affiliate site before completing the transaction. It is shown on the manage leads page.

How and when will I get paid?
Commission payments are normally paid by BACs or cheque. OMG ordinarily make two payment runs each month - one on 7th and one on the 21st. Each payment will include all amounts that have been received by OMG India from the Advertiser prior to the time the payment is processed. For further information please contact your Account Manager.

There is a minimum commission level of INR 2000 for Indian affiliates and an equivalent of £100 GBP for international affiliates to reach, before payments will be made.

How will I be paid for programmes in other countries?
Payments will be in the currency associated with each Affiliate account (selected by the Affiliate at the time of sign up to the network). Where a programme is managed in a different currency it will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time the payment is processed. For further information of non-standard payment options please contact your Account Manager.

How long do commissions remain pending?
On the Overview report, commissions will remain with a status of “Pending” until the Merchant has confirmed that OMG India can invoice for validated transactions. Once the invoice has been raised the status will change to “Invoiced”. Once we have received payment from the Merchant the status will state “Received”. Once we have sent payment out to the Affiliate the status will state “Sent”.

Why was a transaction rejected by a merchant?
Commission is only paid if transactions are validated by the merchant. (A transaction with a status of Validated may in certain circumstances subsequently be set to Rejected). A transaction may be Rejected for different reasons. The most common reasons are:

    The transaction was cancelled.
    The transaction was fraudulent.
The transaction was allocated to an alternative advertising channel (e.g. PPC campaign).

How do I access my reports/statistics?
All affiliate dashboards contain elements of summary reporting. To access further reporting select the ‘View Statistics’ option from the navigational menu at the top of the page. We provide various views including an Overview, a Daily, a Monthly and Content reports. We also provide lower level reporting, including, where available, retail/item data on individual transactions within various Transaction reports.
